Feature & Follow

Follow Friday is a blog hop Hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read

Q: What is the BIGGEST word you've seen used in a book lately - that made you stop and look it up? Might as well leave the definition & book too.

Good question. I don't think it ever happened. You know when I read an English book, if I have a really big word or if I don't understand it, well, I just pass. But it's not something I can easily remember about.

  3. Having an ereader makes it so easy to look up a word while reading that it's hard to remember which words I've looked up. But there was one recently that stands out to me. The word I had to look up was from David Mitchell's novel Cloud Atlas. Check it out here

  5. Hopping through. I usually let words I don't know pass as well. I can normally figure out the context.

  12. Context works sometimes, I read a multitude of self-published books and I find much of the time I end up using my kindle to check the spelling of words.
